2026 Festival Rules

JAZZ VOCAL SOLO

1. Students entering the Jazz Vocal Solo Category must be registered by their school director or other school official.
2. Students will submit their vocal video recordings consisting of 2 vocal selections of varying Jazz styles by December 18, 2025. Each selection should not exceed 5 minutes in length.
3. The top 5 vocalists chosen by the committee will be invited to attend the National Jazz Festival and compete in a live performance setting.
4. The top 5 students and alternates will be informed of their selection status by January 18, 2026.
5. Music will be emailed to the 5 students selected to perform at the National Jazz Festival. Selected students also receive complimentary registration into our new for 2026 NJF Vocal All Star Group.
